Overview

Dprime Woo Ajax Search adds a live WooCommerce product search shortcode. Customers can type inside the search field and see matching products without a page reload.

Features include product thumbnails, prices, SKU display, configurable result limits, button style controls, appearance presets, and an option to disable the built-in frontend stylesheet for fully custom theme styling.

  • PHP 8.2 or newer
  • WooCommerce must be active

Frequently asked questions

How do I show the search form?

Use [dprime_ajax_search] anywhere shortcodes are supported.

Can I disable the plugin CSS?

Yes. Open the Appearance tab and choose No CSS under Frontend CSS. The shortcode will still load the JavaScript needed for live search, but it will not enqueue the built-in frontend stylesheet or inline appearance CSS.

Can I override output per shortcode?

Yes. You can pass attributes such as placeholder, limit, show_image, show_price, and show_sku.
